Mike Koralewsky was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wi. Growing up, he enjoyed the influence and long family legacy of working in and giving back to the community. His maternal grandfather helped to start up and run the Manitowoc Zoo, Zoological Society and was a member of the Elks Club. His paternal grandfather worked at the Manitowoc shipyards and taught him the value of a hard day’s work. Mike’s father, John Koralewsky, started his own printing business in Manitowoc, and it was there that Mike learned the ins and outs of owning a business and the printing field. In 1989, Mike established Prompt Printing Center. As he did not want to be in direct competition with his family’s current printing business, he chose Two Rivers as a place to call home to Prompt. This decision started a 30+ year investment into the city and its citizens as Mike not only ran his business and provided much needed jobs, but also gave back to his community in many ways.

Prompt Printing Center was first located at 1601 Washington Street. As opening any small business can be a challenge, Mike’s friendly demeanor and commitment to invest into his community brought many people and companies to his door. “Big enough to handle all your printing needs; yet small enough to care,” was not simply Prompt Printing’s tagline, it was a way of business for Mike. As Prompt Printing Center grew, Mike offered many free and discounted products to non-profits or fundraisers with printing needs. He was involved in the Chamber of Commerce, Manitowoc/Two Rivers Rotary Club, Two River’s Business Association, and donated as a business and personally to many growing services in the area such as Woodland Dunes, Manitowoc’s Zoological Society, The Mariner’s Trail, Hamilton Community House, Two River's Optimist Club, and many churches and groups in need.

After two years of growth, Prompt Printing Center built a 2,000 square-foot addition to a previous Domino’s Pizza building and relocated to 1620 22nd Street in Two Rivers. This move allowed Prompt Printing Center to produce higher volume, invest into more equipment and enable them to provide even more services to the lakeshore area.
You can still find Prompt Printing Center located on 22nd street in Two Rivers and Mike working to provide caring and quality printing services to his community. In his free time, you will find Mike camping, kayaking or spending time with any of his six grandchildren.
